wifi cooperative

Now we have a new hope for ‘Internet for All’ dream. At least a city with large area of free and secure wireless internet access. We know that till now, ubiquitous wireless internet remains a distant dream in most places. Planned city-wide Wi-Fi projects have been derailed by the cost of blanketing a city in routers.

Two Cambridge scientist have developed a “wireless cooperative” that allows people to share their Wi-Fi connection with strangers, securely and at no extra cost. If many people in one city have a Wi-Fi connection and they share it, there will be large area of free wireless internet access

Imagine a city with free internet access everywhere, not only you will have more flexibility to access internet, you will also have a 100% free call access with Skype PSP
