Verizon Wireless has recently announced that BlackBerry Curve 8330 smartphone will be available on May 12th in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores. Stated to be the smallest and lightest full-QWERTY BlackBerry smartphone, the BlackBerry Curve 8330 is packed with rich multimedia capabilities and services. Accessories included in the package are a stereo headset, USB cable, travel charger and premium tote sleeve.

The measures are 4.2″ x 2.4″ x 0.6″ and 4 ounces weigh. Large, vibrant 320 x 240 display, with light sensing technology that automatically adjusts brightness for optimal viewing in outdoor, indoorand dark environments.The phone features include noise cancellation technology to offset background noise; Speaker Independent Voice Recognition (SIVR) for Voice Activated Dialing (VAD); dedicated “send,” “end” and “mute” keys; and low-distortion speakerphone.

The 2.0 megapixel camera supports video recording, a self-portrait mirror, enhanced flash and 5x zoom (microSD memory card required for video recording, sold separately). Of course this smartphone is also equipped with Bluetooth (Bluetooth 2.0).

The BlackBerry Curve 8330 smartphone will be available for $169.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.
