Asus , a Taiwan phone Manufacturer, has just announced their plan for releasing a new product ASUS P527 smartphone, it would be successor to the Asus P526 whose main characteristic is its GPS functionality.
The ASUS P527 is a Quad-Band mobile phone with a 2.6-inch screen and 240 x 320 pixels, TI OMAP850 processor at 200MHz with 64MB RAM and 128MB of ROM memory.
On the other hand offers a 2 megapixel camera, FM radio, the aforementioned GPS chip SiRF Star III, WiFi connectivity and Bluetooth, GPRS / GSM and EDGE and slot for microSD memory cards.
This mobile terminal design metallic grey and has a size of 113 x 58 x 15.4 mm and a weight of 126 grams, and is expected to go on sale later this year for about € 500. It will be available in Hong Kong and Taiwan by the end of November. Thereafter, it will be sold in Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, India and Turkey.
