It seems that the new version of Asus Eee PC won’t support the rumored 10-inch screen. the ASUS economic laptop will come with a decent memory of 1 GB of RAM and 8GB hard drive capacity, compared with 4 and 2GB of previous models.

According to official announcement, ASUS Eee PC has an Intel Celeron processor at 900MHz and uses Linux, a combination that gives a battery life of 3.5 hours.

Estimated to be released to market on mid-December for about $499.
